You found my weakness… it’s small knives!
This scene in the trailer made me excited for the movie! It looks like they really played with his personality.
I am more excited for this movie than I am for the Avengers. Don’t get me wrong, Avengers will be/is amazing and fun and action-packed and well-written and I want to see it really badly, but Spidey is the superhero of my childhood.

We watched this last night. Gory as shit, and very funny. I approve.
This movie is hilarious. I never thought a hillbilly movie could be so funny.

Saw this today.
I didn’t like it.
Well, okay. It wasn’t bad, but (and I don’t think this is me being a perfectionist or purist or anything because I let a lot go) it pales in comparison to the book.
If you’ve seen this movie and you like it, do yourself a favor: read the book.

Saw this for the first time yesterday.
I actually enjoyed it. It’s super campy but Megan Fox actually plays her part well (as in, I believed it within the movie world) and Amanda Seyfried is not bad either. The soundtrack is kinda weird but kinda fitting in some places. Adam Brody isn’t great, which was expected but disappointing nonetheless. And Young Neil’s in it!
I have a feeling that a lot of the tech people - or at least the cameraman, light designer, and set designer - had a real budget and were actually invested in making the movie as well as they could. The production isn’t half-assed, anyway, making the movie at least visually enjoyable. The story kind of falls apart at the end, though.
Anyway. I’ll probably watch it again.
I think I post some part of this interchange once every couple of months.
